Interested high school students, families, school counselors, and college advisors are invited to join the following North Carolina scholarship programs for an informational evening via Zoom. Program representatives will provide an overview of each scholarship and answer questions. Below are four dates the sessions will be held and we hope you can join us for one!

| The Cheatham-White Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program for students attending North Carolina Central University. This program was designed to provide an outstanding educational experience for exceptional scholars with a wide range of interests. Students chosen for the Cheatham-White Scholarship typically are proficient in both the arts and sciences, demonstrate strong leadership potential, and have a commitment to public service. |
2020 - 2021 Scholarships
Bryan Scholarship for Davidson College
1) ACEC can nominate up to 3 of our senior scholar athletes. To be considered for nomination, e-mail Ms. Edwards by September 10th.
2) If you are nominated, you completed application is due by October 15th.
Morehead-Cain Scholarship for UNC-Chapel Hill
1) ACEC can nominate two students to apply for the Morehead-Cain Scholarship. In order to be considered, please submit an updated copy of your resume, along with the Morehead-Cain Questionnaire (See below) to Ms. Edwards no later than Thursday, September 10th.
2) If you are chosen to be nominated to apply, you will be notified by Ms. Edwards no later than Monday, September 14th.
3) If you are nominated, you completed application must be submitted by October 15, 2020. School reports and letters of recommendation are also due at this time.
NC State Park Scholarship
1) ACEC can endorse two students to apply for the NC State Park Scholarship. In order to be considered, please submit an updated copy of your resume, along with a short essay stating why you feel you should be nominated no later than October 2nd.
2) If you are endorsed, your completed application is due November 1st.
