Ansonville Elementary School's Battle of the Books team traveled to ImaginOn Theatre in Charlotte on Monday, April 21st.  The team of sixth graders competed against students in grades 6, 7, and 8 from Lincoln, Union, Cabarrus, Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Richmond, Gaston, and Cleveland Counties.
AES was not defeated in any of the 7 rounds of competition.  They came in 3rd place, missing 2nd place by only 1 question, and 1st place by only 4 questions.  These amazing students are coached by Media Specialist Melissa Bailey and sixth-grade teacher Stephanie Harward.
