Child and Family Support Team

The School-Based Child and Family Support Team consists of a Nurse and Social Worker. The Support Team will identify and coordinate appropriate community services. The guiding principle of the Child & Family Initiative is One Child, One Plan. The Team will serve as the liaison between the home, school and community, providing direct, as well as indirect, services to students, families and school personnel, to promote and support students' academic and social success. The services are individualized, strength-based and family-centered.
