Custodial Services Department oversees the custodial operations of the Anson County School District. The department is currently staffed by a Supervisor, a Supply Clerk, a Lead Custodian, and 33 School Custodians. The department works with Schools' Administrative Staff, manages, trains, and directs custodians most cost-effectively while providing high-quality customer service. We oversee the daily cleaning of 14 sites.
To support our vision and mission, our goal is to provide all schools with a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment. The Custodial Department and its staff provide but are not limited to: daily/weekly/monthly/annual cleaning tasks, specialty cleaning tasks, gym floor refinishing, etc. In addition to routine cleaning tasks, we handle coverage for community use activities, clean up after athletic events, and furniture set up for functions and special events.
The department also works parallel with other workgroups during emergencies such as; fire drills, lockdown, water leaks, vandalism, and inclement weather conditions to ensure schools are ready for occupancy with little or no disruption.
